Recruit people you like personally and professionally to divide up tasks, ensure show sustainability and have fun! Our most successful shows have 2-4 co-producers.
2. Find a Venue
Brainstorm and ask friends for personal connections. Potential venues include arts non-profits, universities, corporate spaces, galleries, and community centers.
3. Select a Date
Confirm the show date with the venue to start promoting and use Open Show’s online curating system to select presenter lineup.
4. Promote
Use email, social media and partners to attract project uploads to the Open Show submission page. Invite friends to join your city’s Facebook fan page and spread the word.
5. Curate & Prep
Select projects based on Open Show’s 5 presenter format and curating guideline. Prepare equipment, starter food/drink and presentation files at the venue. Launch!
